Eneza Education
In 2015, IDP Foundation (IDPF) partnered to bring Eneza Education’s edtech intervention to 250 students within the IDP Rising Schools Program. This was the first time Eneza brought their work to Ghana. This two-year pilot partnership aimed to improve learning outcomes through funding Eneza’s edtech solution to student learning, via access to virtual tutors and teachers’ assistants. In 2016, IDPF invested to further support Eneza’s growth and development as they learned from the pilot, pivoted their approach and continued to explore expansion in other African countries.
As of 2022, Eneza has reached over 9 million learners, tracking an improvement of 23% in student performance after using their platform. Eneza Education is currently active in Kenya and Côte d’Ivoire, and provides bite-sized curriculum to learners from 10 to 18, in math, science, English, social studies and other national curriculum topics.
