The Jacobs Foundation, headquartered in Zurich, supports learning systems to provide young people with the knowledge, skills, attitudes, tools, and equitable opportunities to reach their learning potential and thrive.
With a focus on improving access to quality education in both public and private schools, this partnership co-funds collaborations across multiple areas – advocacy, research, and edtech initiatives – within Ghana, Kenya, and around the world.
IDP Foundation works collaboratively with The Jacobs Foundation towards a shared goal – improving access to quality education for all children in Ghana. This is based on an understanding that the education system is a mixed one, comprising both public and private provisions. The relationship covers evidence and information-sharing with the Ministry of Education, advising on education policy, program planning and design, and advocating for support for Ghana’s mixed education economy.
