Claire England joined the IDP Foundation in January 2021 as Communications & Engagement Director. Hired as part of the strategic plan by the Foundation to increase its engagement and profile, she works closely with the CEO and Education Team to mobilize global stakeholders and local actors in the affordable non-state education sector through partnerships, networking, and narrative-setting.

Claire is an intuitive content expert with more than 20 years’ experience in the UK, the Middle East, and India, with a strong creative background in consumer publishing, commercial marketing, and intelligent content. Claire is passionate about education in the developing world and is focused on collaboration, with a strong belief in the power of collective action. She holds a BA in Social Policy and Administration from the University of Nottingham and is based in Brighton, UK.
