As the IDP Foundation made its rounds in New York City during the 71st Session of the UN General Assembly in September, a constant theme surrounding the efforts of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) resonated throughout many of the sessions.
At the IDP Foundation, we believe that strong partnerships and collective impact are key components to tackling large problems.
As of January 1, 2016, the United Nations and its 193 Member States officially ushered in the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), a global agenda to end poverty by the year 2030. Made up of 17 goals that focus on a variety of initiatives like gender equality, health, and education, these goals recognize that social and environmental issues are interconnected and affect everyone in our global community.
The IDP Foundation, Inc. and the World Bank co-hosted an Education Stakeholders Meeting on Wednesday, 29 March 2017 at the Alisa Hotel in Accra, Ghana. Recently, IDP Foundation found themselves at 32.7066 degrees N, 117.1618 degrees W: the San Diego Convention Center. There, we attended the week-long Esri User Conference along with 15,000 other students and professionals from around the world.
Recently, Irene Pritzker sat down to speak with Eric Weinheimer, President and CEO of Forefront, about impact investing.
