Eneza Education, originally launched in Kenya, is both a virtual tutor and teaching assistant that is accessible via subscription service on a low-cost mobile phone. IDP Foundation entered into our partnership with Eneza in 2015 in order to bring their company to Ghana.

For a low weekly or monthly fee, students are able to access locally aligned tutorials, tips, and assessments, as well as a leaderboard, Wikipedia test, and live teacher chats all through USSD/SMS. Seeing as Eneza had reached over 500,000 students in Kenya, the IDP Foundation did not hesitate to begin a partnership with Eneza to offer the service to IDP Rising Schools students in Ghana. Now, Eneza has grown exponentially in Kenya (with over 4,000,000 learners) and has been offered to 260 IDP Rising Schools.
