    World Relief - DuPage/Aurora

World Relief serves refugees and immigrants through a range of services including initial resettlement services, employment services, youth services, counseling, immigration services and ESL (English as a second language) services. Our support is for the Gateway Program in teaching English based on oral trainings. The program has been established to give adult learners with little or no prior education the language and literacy skills they need to become independent and productive members of their community. The curriculum focuses on oral learning styles, seeking to build on the strengths of the students many of whom come from cultures with a strong oral background.
